The Hayward La-Honda Music Camp is organized to challenge students in a variety of creative pursuits and is devoted to the development of musicianship for students grades 6-12. This is accomplished through a program of study, concentrated rehearsal, performance, recreation and general camp life. The camp mission is to inspire young people to achieve their best musically, to enjoy a great social/recreational experience and take home memories that will last a lifetime.

The 2012 camp dates are July 28-August 4.

NEW VOCAL MAJOR CLASSES


Do you have aspirations to audition for shows like the Sing Off or The Voice? Hayward La Honda Music Camp is excited to offer a new vocal major for campers this summer! This vocal major is open to senior campers, 9th–12th grade, focusing on contemporary and barbershop style, men and women’s, 4 part a cappella music, performance skills, vocal techniques and sight reading. Students will work in small ensembles or quartets with performance opportunities throughout the week. Bring your inner “Glee” and join us among the beautiful coastal redwoods for an incredible vocal music experience
