All campers that play brass, woodwind and percussion instruments will be assigned to two band courses (performance group and section rehearsal). Specific ensemble designations will be made after auditions.

Note. This year all junior campers will be assigned to either Junior Wind Ensemble or Junior Concert Band.  Senior campers will be either placed in Senior Wind Ensemble or Senior Symphonic Band. Those senior campers who become members of the Senior Wind Ensemble may also be placed in the full orchestra during technique classes. Advanced flute and clarinet techniques classes are offered as a 6th period elective this year.

Senior Symphonic Band:


  • 85 piece wind & percussion band playing intermediate to advanced music from multiple eras and genres.
  • Open to all senior wind and percussion players
  • Includes sectionals
  • Performance at Final Concert

Senior Wind Ensemble:

  • 35 piece wind & percussion band performing advanced level music from multiple eras and genres.
  • Open to all senior wind and percussion players by audition
  • Includes sectionals
  • Performance at Final Concert

Junior Symphonic Band:


  • 65 piece wind & percussion band playing intermediate to advanced music for middle school students.
  • Open to all junior wind and percussion players
  • Includes sectionals
  • Performance at Final Concert

Junior Wind Ensemble:

  • 35 piece wind & percussion band performing advanced level music from multiple eras and genres.
  • Open to all junior wind and percussion players by audition
  • Includes sectionals
  • Performance at Final Concert
